<p>Former Director General of Police (DGP) Viresh Kumar Bhawra has moved the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) challenging the appointment of current Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav by the state government. As per the information received, a hearing was held today on the application filed by Punjab Housing Corporation Chairman VK Bhavra in the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). The matter has been postponed till November 6. Union Home Ministry and Punjab Government have been made parties in this case.</p>
