The Punjab region is expected to experience rainfall over the weekend due to the ongoing western disturbance. The meteorological department predicts rain on both Saturday and Sunday. During this period, there will be minimal fluctuations in temperatures, with both minimum and maximum temperatures remaining close to the normal range.

On Saturday, there is a possibility of rain in 10 districts of Punjab, including Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Firozpur, Fazilka, Muktsar, Ferozepur, Moga, Bathinda, Mansa, and Barnala. The chances of rain in these areas range between 25 to 50 percent. The rest of Punjab is expected to stay dry.

Similar weather conditions are anticipated on Sunday. Rainfall is expected in 16 districts, including Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Firozpur, Fazilka, Muktsar, Ferozepur, Moga, Bathinda, Mansa, Barnala, Sangrur, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and Kapurthala. The likelihood of rain is higher in these regions.

Following recent showers, temperatures in Punjab have been near normal, with some areas experiencing temperatures 1 to 2 degrees Celsius below average. Even after the expected rainfall over the weekend, temperatures are anticipated to remain within the normal range.
