Today, on the second day of the budget session 2022, CM Bhagwant Mann addressed the assembly on about 15 issues. He assured in his speech that he would live up to the expectations of the people of Punjab and at the same time talk of making Punjab a colorful Punjab. He spoke on issues like corruption, school reform, service centers, gangsterism, etc.
Highlights from the Speech:
* He said that Punjab has to be made a colorful Punjab.
* He said that neither the corrupt nor the false promises would be spared. So far, 47 arrests have been made against corruption.
* 'One MLA One Pension' is an exemplary step taken by the government.
* In the last 100 days, the government has taken important decisions.
* 122 new schemes have been launched in the service centers.
* Schools in Punjab will be improved. Teachers will only teach the children. Teachers will be sent abroad for training.
* AGTF was formed to eradicate gangsterism in Punjab. Jails will be developed as high-security jails in the near future.
* College Universities are being updated. 44 new courses related to IITs will be started.
* 25 thousand houses will be built in Punjab.
