Film director Shakun Batra along with his cast Deepika
Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi announced the title of their much-awaited film ‘Gehraiyaan’.Along with their movie title, they also announced the movie’s release date.
The movie is scheduled to be
released on Jan 25 on OTT platforms.
Apprising about the movie release Deepika Padukone wrote,” A
piece of my heart”.

The shooting of this film Began in October 2020. Most of the
movie scenes are shot on the outskirts of Mumbai and the actors Deepika, Ananya, and Siddhant were often spotted while commuting for the shoot via
Mumbai-Alibaug ferry. The actors also shared various snapshots on social media.
Besides Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandya, and Siddhant
Chaturvedi, the film also stars Naseeruddin Shah as well as Rajat Kapur in
central roles.
In the context of this movie, director Shakun said,”
Gehraiyaan for me is not just a movie. It is a journey into the intricacies of
human relationships, it is a mirror into modern adult relationships, how we
traverse through the maze of feelings and emotions and how each step, each
decision we make affects our lives and the lives of those around. I am
immensely glad to have taken this journey with the incredible team and Dharma
Productions, the exceptionally talented cast and crew, and now Amazon Prime
Video. I believe audiences will relate to this film."

The film is going to stream on Amazon Prime Video covering over 240 countries and territories worldwide commencing on 25 January 2022.
