'Kissed me thrice': Salman Khan jokes about snake biting incident

"It was a kind of poisonous snake. I was hospitalized for 6 hours...I am fine now," said Salman Khan.

Salman Khan was recently hospitalized after he was bit by a snake at his farmhouse near Panvel. Talking about the tragedy, the Bollywood actor told more about the mishap in detail.

Joking about the incident, the actor said, "Snake was the first to give a gift on my birthday. It kissed me thrice on my hand."

Detailing about the mishap, Salman explained, "a snake had entered my farmhouse; I took it outside using a stick. Gradually it reached onto my hand. I then grabbed it to release, which is when it bit me thrice. It was a kind of poisonous snake. I was hospitalized for 6 hours...I am fine now."



Salman Khan was taken to the hospital on Saturday night after the snake bite and was discharged from the hospital on Sunday morning. After getting discharged from the hospital, the actor came back to his farmhouse and celebrated his 56th birthday.



Customarily, Salman celebrates his birthday at his farmhouse near Panvel with family members and close friends. This farmhouse is located on the outskirts of Mumbai.

In several photos and videos circulated online, Slaman is seen posing for the paparazzi stationed outside his farmhouse and smiling. The camerapersons also sang a birthday song for the actor. When One of the camerapersons commented on Salman’s Smile calling it lovely, the actor in return said, “ It is hard  to smile like this after being bitten by a snake.”



The actor cut cake with his niece on his 56th birthday. For the occasion, the actor wore a black t-shirt, a black jacket and a pair of brown pants.

The upcoming projects of the actor include a sequel of the 2015-released Bajrangi Bhaijaan as well as the third part of the Yash Raj Films’ Tiger series.
