The furious fans, who are against the ‘nepotism in Bollywood’, expressed their anger by disliking the films and trailers of films. Sadak 2, featuring Alia Bhatt (a Starkid), Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt, was the most disliked films on YouTube.
Some SSRian made the #BoycottRadhe trend on Twitter. The trailer of the film was released on Eid, last month. The trailer of Radhe got massive dislikes on YouTube (343K and counting), which is a rare thing for Salman Khan’s movie. Fans made the #BoycottRadhe trend on Twitter and the ‘No Sushant, No Bollywood” slogan was also raised.
The same response was gathered by Mahesh Bhatt’s directorial comeback ‘Khaali Peeli”, which featured awaited star kids Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday.
This anger stems from the narrative that Sushant Singh Rajput, an industry ‘outsider’ has to struggle hard, despite immense talent, which so-called ‘insiders’ got lucrative offers.
Sushant died on 14th June 2020 by hanging with the ceiling fan. Some claimed it as murder and some termed it as a conspiracy of his that time girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
