The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested the youngest among the six shooters who were involved in the killing of Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moosewala.
The shooter is a 19-year-old boy named Ankit alias Chhota, a resident of Sonipat in Haryana was the most desperate to commit the crime.
“He fired simultaneously from two pistols in his two hands from two pistols in both hands”, says H.G.S Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner during the media briefing.
The accused was closest to the singer during the murder. The Special Cell has also arrested Sachin Choudhary alias Sachin Bhiwani who provided shelter to the module of four shooters immediately after the murder. Not only this, he also helped the shooters to escape to Haryana-Rajasthan-Gujarat-Madhya Pradesh-Uttar Pradesh-Jharkhand.
The Special CP also revealed that during the past 30-35 days, these accused have changed over 30 locations and were on the run to evade arrest.
The breakthrough was achieved when the Special Cell on June 19 arrested Priyavrat alias Fauji and Kashish alias Kuldeep, and a facilitator named Keshav Kumar from Gujarat. They unraveled the whole planning and execution of the crime.
The police have arrested three of the six-shooters so far -- Priyavrat, Kashish, and Ankit.
