A fatal accident was reported on Saturday morning in the Phagwara sub-division under Kapurthala in Punjab. Out of the 4 people, 2 died on the spot during an accident while the other two were admitted to Kapurthala Civil Hospital in critical condition. Reportedly, the car met with an accident while they were returning from a function.
As per the information, 4 people were returning from a function when their vehicle hit a big tree on the Phgwara road leading to Hoshiarpur. The driver seemed to have lost control after which the speeding car collided with a huge tree on the side. Two people died on the spot while the other two were admitted to Civil Hospital and their condition still remains critical. One deceased has been identified as Dharminder, a resident of Patti Ramdasian (Ballo) Bathinda while the other one is still unidentified. The injured have been identified as Gagan and Gursevak. All of them worked as professional photographers.
The eyewitnesses revealed that all the 4 youths were taken out of the car with great difficulty. They revealed that the vehicle was completely crushed after colliding with the tree. As soon as all of them were taken out of the car, two were dead while the other two were alive but unconscious.
