In a shocking incident, a 21-year-old woman was forced to dig her own grave and was then shot dead and buried on a beach. Three accused, two men and a woman have been arrested in the case.
The murder took place in the Santa Catarina state of Brazil. The victim, Amanda Albach, had gone to a birthday party with her friends on November 15 and did not return home.
The news of the horrifying crime surfaced when one of the accused confessed to the killing after which police rushed to retrieve the body of the victim on December 3. Police revealed that
one of the accused confessed to forcing Albach of digging her own grave and later shot her twice. They buried the victim’s body on the beach of Irapiruba Norte de Laguna and fled the scene.
According to Bruno Fernandes, the police chief of the Criminal Investigation Department, “Albach had gone to Santa Catarina with some friends to attend a friend's birthday party.
Some people were suspected of being involved in the drug business. Albach filmed them during this time, which didn't go well with them. They then planned to kill Albach.”
"One of the accused said he was uncomfortable because he realised Amanda had told third parties that he was involved in drug trafficking," police chief Fernandes stated.
He went on to say that she allegedly took a photo of the suspect with a gun and sent it to people.
The family members were concerned when Albach did not return from the party. They tried calling but were unable to reach her after which police were informed. A search operation was launched
during which police apprehended a suspected drug dealer, who admitted to killing Albach.
