Earlier the movie was launched on big screen in the year 2021 which was critically applauded. The film is based on 1958 women centered play which showcased how 8 women together solved a murder mystery while being trapped.
7 women and a murder, an all-female thriller film is all set to stream on Netflix on 28th December 2022. The comedy-drama 1hr 24 mints movie shows when the male head of a family is murdered how 7 women of the same family get trapped in a mansion and delve deeper into them solving the mystery of the patriarch’s murder. Reportedly, the film is based on a 2002 French film titled as 8 women and a mystery.
From the trailer it becomes clear that the film is set in 1930s in Italy when a murder of an entrepreneur takes place. Post this, a group of women who are his daughters and wife are forced to reveal certain secrets of their family when they venture out to solve the murder mystery of deceased. The women get trapped in a bungalow while they try their best to solve why ad who murdered their father/ husband. Each woman is a suspect ad all have ulterior motive of killing him but no one knows who is the murderer.
