New Delhi: After Whatsapp ruled for four years as an instant messaging application both on android and IPhone, the Apple Inc is all set to introduce an alternative in the form of iMessage — Apple default messaging platform but it lacks numerous features that WhatsApp brings.
Apple iMessage will probably get some WhatsApp quality. With Apple annual developers’ conference, WWDC, less than a month away, it is expected that the Cupertino-based tech giant will get a lot of new features on its iOS.

One of the features that are expected to come to iMessage is that it will allow iPhone users to set a profile picture and display name — which is already present on WhatsApp. Also, iPhone users will be able to choose who all can see their display name and profile pictures.
The report also says that the iMessage app does not only induct dedicated menu in the conversation view to send sticker versions of Animojis but also iPhone users will be able to sent Memojis.
Last year, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that Apple iMessage is the social media “biggest competition.”
