On Thursday, Irrfan Khan who battled neuroendocrine tumour was spotted outside producer Dinesh Vijan's office in Mumbai. The actor was seen in covered face as he was seen arrived at Dinesh Vijan's office.
It was in March 2018 that Irrfan Khan announced that he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Four months after the the announcement, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. The treatment started abroad in March last year. He visited India for Diwali for a small period and took off again.
The actor returned India in February 2019. At that time, a source close to the actor also informed that Irrfan might begin filming the sequel to Hindi Medium. Irrfan's presence outside Dinesh Vijan's office incited reports of him making a comeback with Hindi Medium 2.
In addition to Hindi Medium 2, Irrfan Khan has signed up for many films before he was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. He has a biopic directed by Shoojit Sircar on Udham Singh. A flick with Deepika Padukone, which is to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, was also announced before he left for treatment. He had however, opted out of Amazon's web-series named Gormint.
Three movies, including one Hollywood movie Puzzle were released when he was abroad, being treated for Cancer.
