Rose Water: Itchy scalp?? Worry no more! Just add a cap full of rosewater to your shampoo to soothe dry and itchy scalp. This will also make your hair shinny and also spurs hair growth. Add 1 teaspoon rose water to 2 tablespoons shampoo. You can also use rose water to dilute the shampoo. For this combine 5 tablespoons rose water with ½ to 2 tablespoons shampoo and use this liquidy shampoo to wash hair as usual.
Raw Honey: Honey has many benefits. Raw honey is naturally antibacterial and antifungal. Adding raw honey to your shampoo will keep your scalp healthy as it kills bacteria and also restores moisture and adds shine. Add half teaspoon of organic raw honey to 2 tablespoon of mild shampoo. However, regular use of honey can lighten your hair.

Essential Oil: This proves really helpful in preventing hairfall and also stimulates hair growth. It also slows greying and helps treating dandruff as well. Rosemary or lavender oil is known for its fragrance and is very useful in treating dandruff issues as well as dry and scaly scalp. Rosemary oil will stimulate the hair follicles, as a result of which hair will grow longer and stronger. You can add 3-4 drops of rosemary essential oil to 2 tablespoon of herbal shampoo.
Aloe Vera: Adding aloe vera cleanse, nourish, protect hair from damage. Aloe vera is one in all as it also helps in getting rid of dandruff & itchy scalp. It also promotes hair growth.
Amla: Amla nourishes hair shaft and hence strengthning hair-follicles. It cleanses the scalp and also keeps dandruff at bay. It stimulates the scalp and also stops hairfall. Add ½ teaspoon aamla juice to 2 tablespoons of your regular shampoo for great results.
Lemon Juice: It possesses natural exfoliating properties and is anti-microbial and anti-fungal which is a great way to trat dandruff. Lemon juice is also great for oily scalp as it will absorb the excess oil and simultaneously will not adversely affect the sebaceous glands unlike chemical remedies. Adding half teaspoon lemon juice in 2 tablespoon of mild natural shampoo will help in strenthening your hair.
