Congress has made their first announcement of the candidates to contest from Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat with Congress President Rahul Gandhi contesting Amethi and Sonia Gandhi contesting from Rae Bareli. These were the only two constituencies from which the Congress won out of the entire Uttar Pradesh's 80 constituencies. 15 candidates have been announced incuding the Congress Chairperson and President out of which 4 are from Gujarat and 11 are from Uttar Pradelsh.

From Gujarat, Raju Parmar has been named for Ahmedabad West, Bharatsinh M. Solanki from Anand, Prashant Patel from Vadodara and Ranjit Mohansinh Rathwa from Chhota Udaipur have been named to contest the Lok Sabha Polls 2019.
From Uttar Pradesh, other than RaGa and Sonia Gandhi, Imran Masood from Saharanpur, Saleem Iqbal Shervani from Badaun, Jitin Prasad, Annu Tandon from Unnaq, Salman Khursheed from Farrukhabad, Rajaram Patel from Akbarpur, Brij Lal Khabri from Jalaun, Nirmal Khatri from Faizabad and R.P.N. Singh from Kushi Nagar have been named to contest the Lok Sabha Polls.
Earlier, Aam Aadmi had named six candidates from Delhi for the Lok Sabha polls.
