While no mainstream media are covering Sushant Singh Rajput's case now, it was once the prime time of most of the news channels of India. Many alleged that the media were doing a media trial in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput. Some were pro-Rhea some were pro-Sushant, but most of them were running stories based on claims.
As a result, complaints were made against few media channels to the NSBA in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. The complaint was filed by Saurav Das, Nilesh Navlakha, Inrajeet Ghorpade, etc.
Now the NBSA (News Broadcasting Standard Authority) has directed Aaj Tak to air an apology on October 27 at 8 pm and to pay a fine of Rs 1 Lakh for attributing fake tweets to the late actor and reporting them as his last tweets.
Allegedly, Aaj Tak falsely reported on the fake tweets stating that Rajput posted three tweets which he later deleted on June 14, 2020, hours before his death, however, the channel later deleted the tweets and took down the article.
