The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on Sunday, inaugurated a new party office in Jalandhar near the Guru Ravidas Chownk.

The Aam Aadmi Party is a party of common people so this office was inaugurated by the common people of Jalandhar in the wake of Jalandhar by election. Gurmes (rehei vendor), Joginder taxi union, Ramesh (taxi driver), Praveen Bhatia (driver), Harbhajan (rickshaw driver), Laddi (labourer), Balveer Singh (labourer), Surinder Singh (labourer), Surjit Singh (labourer) were the hard working common people of Jalandhar who inaugurated this office.

On this occasion Harchand Singh Barsat Journal Secretary AAP Punjab, MLA Raman Arora, MLA Balkar Singh, Rajwinder Kaur Thiara Secretary Punjab, Jagtar Singh Sanghera, Mangal Singh Lok Sabha in-charge, Amritpal Singh District President Urban, Sarabjit Singh District President Rural, Atam Prakash Bablu were present.

Hundreds of party workers and AAP supporters gathered for this office opening and Harchand Singh Barsat said that the party is prepared to fight and win Jalandhar by poll.

Answering the media queries there, Barsat said that staging a dharna is the right of people when they're facing any problem or have demands, but our government and all MLAs are working diligently to solve the problems of common people.

Taking a jibe at Navjot Singh Sidhu, he said that Sidhu is not a topic, topics are Punjab's development, better future for our children and easy life for a common person. He added that the state doesn't function on drama but the actual ground work is what takes a state forward and the Mann government is working earnestly for Punjab.
