In a show of strength, Sushil Kumar Rinku, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll, held a big road show in his stronghold Jalandhar city on Saturday. Accompanied by his wife Sunita Rinku, the road show started with paying obeisance at the famous Shri Guru Ravidas Temple in Jalandhar and covered several areas, including Basti Guja, Evening College, Peer Jhandia Chowk, Avtar Nagar Road, Shehnai Palace, Bhagwan Balmiki Chowk, Ravidas Chowk, Model House, Bhargava Camp, Main Bazaar, Buddha Mall Ground, Lakkar Chowk, Nari Niketan, and Dr. Ambedkar Chowk, and ended at Jyoti Chowk.
Thousands of AAP workers, supporters, and common people walked with Sushil Rinku and welcomed him with flowers, garlands, and slogans in his support. During the road show, Sushil Rinku addressed the people and promised to be the voice of the common people of Jalandhar in the Parliament and bring central funds for the development of Jalandhar.

He also highlighted the historic decisions and unprecedented works done by the AAP government in the last one year, which the previous governments could not do in 70 years. He appealed to the people to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party and award the honest policies and works of the Bhagwant Mann government and encourage them to work for Jalandhar at double speed.
The road show was a clear demonstration of Sushil Rinku and the Aam Aadmi Party's popularity and support in Jalandhar. The Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll is set to take place soon, and with the road show, Sushil Rinku has made it clear that he is a strong contender for the seat.
