Sanjeev Arora ED Raid: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday raided AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora's house and offices in Ludhiana in an alleged money laundering case. Sanjeev Arora ED raid took place on Monday morning when teams of ED raided multiple locations in Punjab allegedly linked to MP & Industrialist Sanjeev Arora. Former Delhi Deputy DM Manish Sisodia slammed PM Modi over ED Raids at Sanjeev Arora's residence and called it an attempt to break the party. AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora took to his X handle and wrote, "I am a law abiding citizen, am not sure about the reason for search operation, will cooperate fully with agencies and make sure all their queries are answered."
For those who are unaware, apart from being a Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjeev Arora is a Ludhiana-based industrialist who owns a real estate and hosiery business. MP Arora also runs the Krishna Pran Breast Cancer Charitable Trust in Ludhiana. AAP nominated him to the Rajya Sabha in 2022.
