#AamAadmiClinics pic.twitter.com/Z7h2seKVVn
CM Mann shared the pictures of the Mohalla Clinics on his Twitter account. He wrote, "During the elections, we had given a big guarantee to the people of Punjab that we would open Aam Aadmi Clinic in every village. This guarantee is also going to be fulfilled in a few hours. The health revolution has started in Punjab. Congratulations to the people of Punjab!"
The AAP government of Punjab claims that in these clinics, people will get better treatment facilities closer to home. During the elections, Aam Aadmi Party had promised that Mohalla Clinics would be built in Punjab along the lines of Delhi.
Initially, one mohalla clinic was announced in each assembly constituency. However, starting from August 15, 75 clinics are being built at present. These are opened in the vacant buildings of the service centers built during the time of the Akali government. These were closed by Captain Amarinder Singh-led Congress government.
