Ever since the drugs angle has emerged in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, the media has become pro-active. Wherever the accused, the officers go, media personnel follow. This is also one of the reasons why people are claiming that a media trial is going on.
However, an unusual sight was filmed outside the NCB Office in Mumbai after a Republic TV reporter was allegedly beaten down by the NDTV and ABP reporter. Going by the reports, Republic TV correspondent Pradeep Bhandari was beaten by ABP News correspondent Manoj Verma and NDTV journalists.
Pradeep took to twitter and wrote, "जानते है महाराष्ट्र में सच बोलने की क़ीमत क्या है? कार्टेल के नामी-गिरामी चेहरे जैसे-जैसे एक्सपोज़ हो रहे है, उनका ग़ुस्सा और बढ़ता जा रहा है।जब पुलिस से भी काम नहीं बना तो आज NDTV और ABP के गुंडे पत्रकारों को मेरे पास हाथपाई करने भेज दिया। लेकिन मैं टूटने वालों में से नहीं हूँ।(Know what is the cost of telling the truth in Maharashtra?
