Cricket fans will be able to enjoy the match at Motera, the world's largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, after a long time. Starting today, the third Test match between India and England will begin. President Ramnath Kovind inaugurated this newly constructed stadium. He was accompanied by Home Minister Amit Shah.
Asian Cricket Council Chairman Jay Shah honored President Kovind with a memento. Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, Sports and Youth Minister Kiren Rijiju, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, former Deputy Chief of Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) and current deputy head Dhanraj Nathwani were present during this.
Earlier Vice President of Gujarat Cricket Association Parimal Nathwani had said that this is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Modi wanted to renovate the old stadium and make it state-of-the-art and the largest stadium in the world.

The stadium, built at a cost of about 700 crore rupees, also has an Olympic size swimming pool. The stadium has 4 dressing rooms. The entire stadium complex is on 63 acres. Apart from this there are separate courts for boxing, badminton, tennis. Not only this, hockey and football fields are also in this campus.
