Hollywood actor Sean Penn recently traveled to Ukraine’s capital Kyiv to film a documentary of the ongoing Ukraine-Russia crisis. Days after his visit, the actor on Monday tweeted a picture from the country. The actor is with the thousands of refugees trying to flee Poland.
In the caption, the actor wrote, “Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road. Almost all the cars in this photo carry women & children only, most without any sign of luggage, and a car their only possession of value.”

In the photo, the actor can be seen rolling his luggage on the road and the other side of the road is covered with cars. Penn was in Kyiv recently for his documentary project on the Ukraine-Russia crisis.
On the issue, he recently tweeted, “Already a brutal mistake of lives taken and hearts broken, and if he doesn’t relent, I believe Mr. Putin will have made a most horrible mistake for all of humankind. President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people have risen as historic symbols of courage and principle.”

The actor also shared a documentary poster with the followers regarding the documentary on Ukraine. Sharing the poster he wrote, “For those who are paying attention to Ukraine, but know little about it’s recent history or people, please see the documentary “Winter On Fire”.
