A drone was seen in the residential area this weekend inside the Indian high commission. The matter has been raised by India with Pakistan.
Incidents of increasing the security concerns in Islamabad have also been taken up by New Delhi. This would be the first time when a drone was spotted inside the Indian mission in Pakistan.
This incident happened on June 26, when an event was being held in India. Notably, at the same time, the first drone attack took place at the Indian air force base in Jammu.
Indian air force in a release on June 27 said, "Two low-intensity explosions were reported early Sunday morning in the technical area of Jammu Air Force Station. One caused minor damage to the roof of a building while the other exploded in an open area."

Further adding, "There was no damage to any equipment. An investigation is in progress along with city agencies."
Alertness in Jammu has increased since then, where more such incidents are anticipated. The use of drones can be cost-effective as well as a cheap mode of causing damage as well as surveillance.
Speaking at the SCO NSAs meet last month, Indian NSA Ajit Doval called for monitoring and controlling of new technologies including drones that are used by the terrorists for smuggling of weapons and misusing the dark web.
The issue of drones being used by terrorists has been pointed several times by India at the United Nations also. Raising concerns on the issue, Special Secretary (Internal Security), Ministry of Home Affairs, VSK Kaumudi said, "The possibility of the use of weaponized drones for terrorist purposes against strategic and commercial assets calls for serious attention by the member states."

"We have witnessed terrorists using UAS to smuggle weapons across borders," Mr Kaumudi further added.
