On Tuesday, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh met Congress President Sonia Gandhi at the latter’s residence in New Delhi. Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat was already present there.
After the meeting was concluded Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat said, “I believe that Congress President Sonia Gandhi has advised state government and organization to work together and Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu have to respect each other’s limits and should cooperate with each other.”

When Punjab Congress in charge was asked about the conflict between Navjot Sidhu and Amarinder Singh he said that the matter has been resolved and neither of them is upset. Harish Rawat stated, “Captain has not said that he is upset with Sidhu. You are contemplating this. This isn't the statement of Punjab CM.”
This meeting was Captain's first meeting with Sonia Gandhi after Navjot Sidhu took over as Punjab Congress chief.
