A huge row sparked after an old interview of AIIMS Panel Head Dr. Sudhir Gupta was broadcasted by the media channel in the form of an audiotape. Dr. Sudhir Gupta who is chairman of the AIIMS Forensic Medical Board comprising seven doctors probing Sushant Singh Rajput's case is now under the scanner ever since he ruled out the murder angle from Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
Dr. Sudhir Gupta had raised many questions on the Mumbai Police and the Cooper Hospital reports in his audio interview on 22 August 2020. He had said that Sushant's case was murder and the evidence has been destroyed fully. He had also said that the crime scene can not be probed with total sanctity as it was not kept intact by the Mumbai Police.
However, Dr. Gupta took a u-turn, and in an interview with the ANI ruled out the murder angle and called it a clear case of suicide. After the audiotapes, many started questioning the credibility of AIIMS and as a result, the AIIMS team has responded to it. Going by the reports of Times Now, the AIIMS forensic team said that it has investigated Sushant Singh Rajput's case from every angle and has submitted its conclusive report to the CBI.
The AIIMS source said that initially, it was seeing like Sushant was murdered and the Mumbai Police was trying to hide something but after investigating Sushant's case a 7-member panel consisting of senior doctors had probed all angles and concluded Sushant Singh Rajput's death was a suicide.
