December 27 marks an exciting milestone for air travel as Air India Express introduces direct flights from Amritsar Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport to Bangkok and Bengaluru.
This initiative by Air India Express promises to enhance connectivity and boost economic growth in the region. Starting from December 27 the airline will operate direct flights to Bangkok three times a week on Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays making travel more convenient and accessible for both leisure and business travels. This marks a significant improvement as Thai Lion Airlines previously operated only one flight a week on this route.
The new flight to Bangkok will depart Amritsar at 10:40 AM with a smooth 4.5-hour journey arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 5:00 PM local time. The return flight from Bangkok will take off at 6:00 PM, landing back in Amritsar at 9:30 PM Indian time.
In addition to this international route Air India Express will also commence daily flights from Amritsar to Bengaluru starting on the same day. The flight will take just 3.15 hours offering a quicker and more efficient travel option. Departing Amritsar at 11:30 PM it will land in Bengaluru at 2:45 AM and the returning flight will take off at 5:50 PM, arriving at Amritsar at 9:20 PM.
