The medical infrastructure
of the nation has collapsed due to an overwhelming number of the latest
COVID-19 cases. People of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and many other states are
suffering as there are no vacant beds, oxygen cylinders in the hospitals.
Somehow, the doctors and people across India have also admitted that this second wave of coronavirus has hit the nation harder than before and the latest
strain of the virus carries a potential threat.
Amid this crisis, everyone is doing their bit to keep positivity alive during the gloomy days. From the layman to celebrities and influencers, social work organizations, everyone is amplifying the requests and donations.
In the latest move, Bollywood renowned actor Akshay Kumar along with his author-wife Twinkle Khanna have extended their hand to help those who are in dire need of oxygen by giving away 100 oxygen concentrators to an organization.
Twinkle Khanna to her social media account on Tuesday and wrote, “ "Wonderful news-Dr Drashnika Patel & Dr Govind Bankani of London Elite Health through Daivik Foundation are donating120 oxygen concentrators and as @akshaykumar and I have managed to get our hands on 100 as well, we have a total of 220. Thank you for the leads. Let’s all do our bit."

Apart from this, she has also shared a word of positivity on her Instagram caption which read, “I think for the last few weeks with members of my own family ill I have been in a bit of a hole. But I couldn’t stay there for long. I implore all of you in your own way to do whatever you can so we can look back at this bleak moment and at least say it took the worst but it brought out the best in all of us. #ILookForSilverLinings."

Akshay Kumar, however, has also donated Rs 1 crore to cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir’s Foundation.
Notably, Akshay has recently recovered from Covid-19. On the work front, he would be next seen in Ram Setu, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, and Prithviraj.
