Superstar Akshay Kumar has also come forward to lend a helping hand in the second wave of the Corona epidemic. He has donated Rs 1 crore to the foundation of cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir. So that the needy corona patients can be helped. Akshay Kumar openly helped during the first wave of Corona in the country. He contributed Rs 25 crore to the PM Cares Fund. After this, he gave Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) 3 crore rupees to buy PPE kits. He donated 2 crore rupees to help the Mumbai Police. Not only this, but he also had provided financial assistance to the daily wage laborers and photographers of the film industry.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has recently recovered from Covid 19. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor had tested positive and later was admitted to the hospital as well. Informing about his report the actor took to his social media and wrote, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I tested positive for Covid-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I am under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon”.
