Akshay Kumar’s Welcome to the Jungle removed from JioStudio’s official YouTube channel; Is the movie shelved? Here’s the truth

Jio Cinema has removed director Ahmed Khan’s ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ from its’s official YouTube channel. Akshay Kumar starrer action-comedy movie ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, the third movie of the famous ‘Welcome’ Franchise, was announced in 2023. Recently, the announcement clip of the movie was deleted from the JioStudio’s official YouTube Channel. This incident has sparked rumors among the audience about the movie getting shelved.

Addressing to all these rumors and media reports, director Ahmed Khan said, “There is no truth to these rumours. The film is on track and we are kickstarting our next leg of the marathon schedule internationally from October for which my technical team has already left for the first recce.”

The makers have also dropped an unseen picture from the shoot on 25th August, indicating that the rumors about the movie being shelved are not true. According to the makers, the movie has already completed its marathon scheduled in Kashmir and Mumbai in August. Now, the movie is set to begin its next international marathon scheduled in the month of October. The movie has already completed it’s 70% shoot.

Ahmed Khan’s action-comedy film has a grabbed a lot of attention of the audience with a huge production scale, enormous set and a cast of 34 actors has raised the excitement level among the audience. They are eager to watch it and get entertained.

Along with Akshay Kumar, the film features Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani.

However, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor will not be the part of this third instalment of the ‘Welcome Franchise’. In this context, Nana Patekar said, “I am not a part of it, maybe they think hum bohot puraane ho gaye hai (I am outdated).” Earlier Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt was also the part of the project but he left the movie due to date issues.

This action-comedy movie presented by Base Industries Group and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, was initially expected to get released by the end of the year. However, the release has now been reportedly postponed to next year.
