Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar on Tuesday introduced his wife Alicia on social media, with a photo he shared on Instagram.
Along with the picture that captures Zafar with Alicia, he wrote: "1,400 years ago Imam Ali said to Fatimah Al-Zahra's, all my worries and sadness disappears when I look at your face, I feel the same Alicia Zafar. Mine for life."
In a separate post, the filmmaker shared a family photo with his wife and parents. "Welcome to the Family," he wrote.
Now, ever since Ali has been married everyone wants to know who actually she is and why the famous Director preferred a secret wedding. In an interview with Times of India, Ali revealed and said that he fell in love with Alicia and spent his entire year pursuing her. He also said that it was only during Christmas last year that he had introduced Alicia to his mother and the two then decided to get married this month even though his mother couldn’t attend the wedding because of the pandemic restrictions in the UK.
Ali revealed that Alicia had worked as a background dancer on the ‘Slow Motion‘ song in Bharat that was picturized on Disha Patani and Salman Khan. Revealing more about Alicia, Ali said, "Alicia is an Iranian based in France. In fact, she’s born and brought up there. The shift was understandably not an easy decision for her at all. But I kept pursuing because I felt that she was the only one I wanted to start a family with."
