On Tuesday, 17th September, Alia Bhatt starring Jigra movie’s first song titled Chal Kudiye is out now. The song features Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt and popular Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh has reunited in the song after 8 long years. Previously, they had come together for the song Ik Kudi from the movie Udta Punjab.
Chal Kudiye has got a lot of appreciation from the fans. The song belongs to movie Jigra in which Alia Bhatt is seen playing the role of a protective sister. The song starts with, “Meri Rakhi pehenta hai naa tu? Tu meri protection mein hai. Tujhe main kuchh bhi hone nahi dungi, kabhi bhi. (You wear my rakhi...right? You are under my protection. I will not let anyone ever harm you.)
After these powerful dialogues of Alia Bhatt, Diljit Dosanjh starts singing the lyrics of Chal Kudiye. Fans find the song powerful yet soothing. Alia Bhatt has shared the song on her Instagram. She wrote, “#ChalKudiye OUT NOW! #Jigra in cinemas, 11th October.” One of the fan commented, "Powerful yet very soothing! My two favs are back absolutely loved it!!"
The movie will get released on 11th October in the theatres. Jigra is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action-thriller movie written by Vasan Bala and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Soumen Mishra under Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions. The plot of the movie majorly revolves around the emotional tale of the on-screen siblings, Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina.
In an interview, actress Alia Bhatt shared about her experience. She said, “It is releasing on October 11, and what I can tell you about it is that it is releasing on October 11, 2024. I had a wonderful time working with Vasan Bala. I have such fond memories of working with him, and we are still working on it because post-production is ongoing. He has got the perfect balance of cool and nostalgia.”
Initially, the movie was scheduled to release on 27th September 2024, but later the release date moved to 11th October 2024. This film's streaming rights are acquired by Netflix and it will be streaming on Netflix after its theatrical run.
