All educational institutions of the state will remain closed on April 11 on the call of the Joint Association of Colleges.
State President of the Association Jagjit Singh, State General Secretary of Nursing College Association Dr Sahil Mittal and President of Punjab Pharmacy College Association Sushil Bansal told that in the past, all the gangs of Punjab had arrested a four-year-old girl from a school in Gurdaspur.
But in this case, without any facts, a form was filed against the management, which is completely wrong.
He said that due to this, all the educational institutions of Gurdaspur should remain closed for a day, but as a result of no hearing by the police administration.
The Association has now decided to keep all the schools and colleges of Punjab closed on the 11th April.
The Jathebandis have decided that if the girl child does not get justice soon and the management is not released, then all the institutions will be forced to hit the streets in the coming days.
On the other hand, State Vice President of RASA, Shamlal Arora and Abohar Colleges Association office-bearer Anurag Asija have also condemned the incident and announced their support for the protest on April 11.
He has appealed to the principals and managers of all the schools and colleges in the city to show solidarity by keeping the educational institutions closed.
