All We Imagine as Light is a drama film written and directed by Payal Kapadia. This film features Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hridhu Haroon. It features Malayalam, Hindi, and Marathi dialogues as it was an international co-production involving companies from France, India, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy.
The storyline of the movie revolves around a nurse named Prabha who witnesses an unexpected turn when a surprise present arrives from her estranged husband.
This movie had its world premiere at the main competition of the 77th Cannes Film Festival on 23rd May 2024. Following which, it was nominated for the Palme d'Or and won the Grand Prix. It became the first Indian film to compete in the main competition since Swaham in 1994.
This movie received a limited release in Kerala, India, on 21st September 2024 before opening wide on 29th November 2024. It has topped the Sight & Sound poll for best film of 2024 and was also named one of the top five international films of 2024 by the National Board of Review. At the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, the film had received two nominations, for Best Foreign Language Film as well as Best Director.

Disney Plus Hotstar announced the release of the film on 3rd January on Instagram.
