Amarnath pilgrims jump from speeding bus going to Punjab after break fails on Jammu-Srinagar NH; Watch

The bus was en route to Hoshairpur & Ludhiana from Shri Amarnath Yatra, however, all of a sudden its break failed near Nachilana in Ramban district on the Srinagar-Jammu highway.

In what could have been a major mishap, a bus from Punjab carrying devotees for the Amarnath Yatra lost its control due to its break failure on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway. As per reports, the bus was en route to Hoshairpur & Ludhiana (Punjab) from Shri Amarnath Yatra, however, all of a sudden its break failed near Nachilana in Ramban district on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. Due to the alertness of the police and security forces present there, a major accident was averted and people's lives were saved. About 8 people were injured in this accident. These include 3 women as well. Now, Punjab bus break fail video is going viral on social media. 

In the viral Amarnath Yatra bus break fail video, people can be seen jumping out from the bus in order to save their lives. On the other hand, the bus keeps on going on a steady speed due to its break failure. As per reports, at the time of the incident, about 45 devotees were on board the bus.

The injured include Rohan Kumar son Sohan Lal resident of Hoshiarpur, Sundarpal son Tej Chand, Rajni Devi wife of Raj Kumar, Vikram son Raj Kumar, Raj Kumar Sharma son Amarnath resident Hamirpur Himachal, Shiv Kumar son Kamal Deep resident Saharanpur, Sagar Sharma resident Ludhiana and Simran Nagarwal resident Hoshiarpur. They are undergoing treatment at 23RR Hospital located in Nachalana village.

The incident took place on Tuesday. Many Amarnath pilgrims were slightly injured in this. Officials said that the accident happened due to brake failure near Nachilana of the bus (PB02BN-9389) coming from Punjab. As per reports, officials have confirmed that the passengers have suffered minor injuries in this accident. They were given first aid at the nearby army camp. They said that all the passengers are safe. According to officials, the bus was not registered with the authorities to take Amarnath pilgrims to Kashmir. The bus was returning from Shri Amarnath Yatra. It had to first come to Hoshiarpur in Punjab.
