On Wednesday Amazon Prime Video announced the Indian version of Amazon Original series LOL. The show has already been a success in countries like Australia, Europe, Asia, and South America. LOL-Hasse To Phasse, the unscripted comedy reality show will be launched on Amazon prime in India on 30th April.
The show will cast ten best comedians of India against each other with two main objectives- to make the other house members laugh and the toughest one is that they themselves should not laugh or even smile. The last one to stay straight without giving even a hint of smile will be the winner and will be awarded a grand prize. India’s professional comedy stars like Cyrus Broacha, Sunil Grover, Suresh Menon, Gaurav Gera, Kusha Kapila, Malika Dua, Ankita Shrivastav, Aakash Gupta, Aditi Mittal and Aadar Malik will be seen fighting the laughter battle on the show. Boman Irani and Arshad Warsi will host the show keep a track of all the contestants.

Aparna Purohit, head of India originals, Amazon Prime video, India shared her views about the show in an interview and said, “what could be more relaxing than a healthy laugh? Actor Boman Irani who will be co-hosting the show with Arshad Varsi also shared his feelings in an interview, “I love exploring and experimenting with diverse concepts as much as I can and I a delighted that with LOL-Hasse Toh Phasse, I get to be a part of a show that offers comedy in a fresh new avatar. Indian audience loves comedy and with this unique format of India’s 10 finest comedians, this show will be a power pack with laughter, insanity, and madness.
