Legal trouble seems to be mounting upon Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel as a bailable warrant has been issued against the actress. Reportedly, Moradabad Court on Tuesday issued a bailable warrant against Ameesha Patel after she allegedly refused to appear before the court on July 19. 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' actress has now been summoned on August 22. Now the question arises why Ameesha Patel has been summoned or why Ameesha Patel arrest warrant has been issed by the court?

As per reports, a Moradabad-based event management company has sued Ameesha Patel and three of her associates for not attending a wedding in 2017, despite taking a sum of Rs 11 lakh. Ameesha did not appear before the court on July 19, therefore a bailable warrant was issued on her name and, now she has to appear before the court on August 22. Apart from Ameesha, three of her associates namely Suresh Kumar, Rajkumar Goswami, Ahmed Sharif are involved in the above-mentioned accusation.

Reportedly, a Moradabad-based event company named Dream Vision headed by Pavan Varma alleged that on November 16, 2017, Ameesha had to perform at a wedding for which she took Rs 11 lakh in advance. Furthermore, the Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai actress came to Delhi, however, outlining the long distance between Delhi and Moradabad, she asked for additional Rs 2 lakh apart from the advance Rs 11 lakh which she already got. The company refused to pay Rs 2 lakh more and therefore Ameesha returned with informing the company. As per the organizers, Ameesha Patel has not returned the money to date.
After listening to the case, the Moradabad Court issued a bailable warrant against Ameesha Patel and her associates Suresh Kumar, Rajkumar Goswami, Ahmed Sharif. Ameesha is facing trial in Moradabad court under sections 120B, 406, 504, 420 and 506 IPC.
