Simpson confessed of killing his wife to him.

Yes! you heard it right. If you haven't watched the docuseries, O.J. Simpson's confession is among the most hair-raising moments of the Netflix show. Below is all you need to know about Mike Gilbert and O.J. Simpson's confession-

Who is Mike Gilbert?

Mike Gilbert, O.J. Simpson's Sports Agent in the Netflix docuseries revealed, "O.J. Simpson is my childhood idol. He became a client, became a friend. I represented O.J. for roughly 22 years. He said, 'My image, what people see of me, is the most important thing I have'. When you go to a party and I hate the saying, they light uo a room. It does not matter if they are good-looking, attractive, not attractive they walk into a room and you notice them and your eyes will follow them. O.J. had that ability. He had 'it'. An agent's job is to create an illusion. So you have a hero.

"On screen, he came across a likable, happy person. It's not reality. Was O.J. a really good person who is capable of doing bad things? Or was O.J. was really a bad person who occasionally did good things? I still don't know. Who was he? Which person did I know?"

It is pertinent to mention here that Simpson was found not guilty by the US court in the double murder case.

O.J. Simpson's confession

Mike Gilbert in episode 4 of the series claimed that Simpson once confessed to killing his wife and even revealed how he did so. Mike Gilbert, in the Netflix docuseries, said, "One night we were still at Rockingham. It was one of the nights where it was just us, and we were sitting outside by the pool. I had never seen O.J. like that. You could see he was very deep in thought, and very emotional, sentimental."

"And he said 'Mike..do you see that tree?' The chlorine from the pool would splash and it was killing the tree. He says 'Nicole and I spent thousands of dollars to save this tree and it's here.' And he started crying. 'Nicole's not here. She's going and she's supposed to be here. We couldn't save our marriage, but we saved this tree'."

"It was one of those moments, you know, that is right and I said, 'O.J. what happened that night? Just what happened?' He said 'what do you think what happened'?"

"And I thought, 'Do I do what agents do?' You just, 'Oh yeah. No I know you couldn't do it. I know you never would have done it or do you tell the truth? And I said, "You know O.J. I always thought you did it"."

And he glanced up. I said, "Not because I see you as a murderer, because I don't. And he just kind of shook his head, and he said 'IF NICOLE WOULDN'T HAVE OPENED THE DOOR WITH A KNIFE, SHE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE."

Simpson ultimately died due to cancer.
