Why are Brian Laundrie's parents under the scanner?
The Netflix series has outlined that Brian after killing Gabby called his parents and talked to his mother Roberta and father as well for at least 55 minutes. Brian's father Christopher Laundrie said in a 2023 deposition for the case that Brian had called him and told him "Gabby's gone" and that he might need a lawyer. Notably, as soon as the Police reached out to Brian's house to ask about the location of Gabby, they gave a cold response and told them to talk to their lawyer. As a result, after Gabby's case caught the media limelight, a protest erupted against Brian's parents.
