Former Punjab Police constable Jagdeep Singh who participated in the famous America's Got Talent (AGT) on Friday was arrested on drug charges. 7'6ft tall Jagdeep Singh aka Deep Singh was considered to be one of the tallest Indian Policeman of all time. Although Jagdeep was already famous in Punjab due to his physical appearance, his fame skyrocketed when he participated in America's Got Talent. Talking about Jagdeep Singh's arrest, he was nabbed in Tarn Taran in possession of drugs.
As per reports, Jagdeep Singh, a former Punjab Police constable, was arrested by the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC). The SSOC reportedly had received information regarding the delivery of 500 grams of heroin from across the border. After this, the police started a secret operation in Tarn Taran. During the operation, Jagdeep Singh reached there in his Bolero car. When the police searched him, 500 grams of heroin was seized from him. Apart from Jagdeep, two of Deep's associates were also with him. Both of them have been detained as well.
Jagdeep Singh has previously held the post of constable in the Punjab Police. However, a few times back he left the job citing family reasons. Notably, Jagdeep was about to leave for the US after a few days. However, he was arrested on Friday.
Coming to Jagdeep's America's Got Talent stint, he performed Gatka in front of judges. Jagdeep was part of Bir Khalsa group which participated in the America's Got Talent. Notably, on the America's Got Talent stage, even the judges were amazed seeing Jagdeep's height and structure. For the unversed, Gatka is a form of martial art associated primarily with the Sikhs of the Punjab and other related ethnic groups
