While Govinda-Sunita Ahuja's divorce rumors have been buzzing among fans on social media, the 90s Bollywood actor has yet to issue any statement. Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja recently appeared in a podcast on the Hindi Rush YouTube channel. Govinda was arguably the biggest Bollywood star of the 90s who was versatile as well. Govinda not only aced comedy but also action, drama, and emotions. The stardom of Govinda can be understood by the fact that he signed 70 films at once after the success of his debut movie. He also signed 75 films at the age of 21. As a result, Govinda not only enjoyed a massive fan base but also impressed many actresses.
In the podcast, Sunita revealed that a Bollywood actress wanted to marry Govinda. Sunita Ahuja said, "Ravneena (Tandon) still says this (on marrying Govinda). She says 'Chi chi (Govinda), if you had met me earlier, I would have married you'."
Govinda and Raveena Tandon was one of the best comedy pairs of Bollywood in 1990's. Both had acted together in many films. In an interview with The Lallantop in January this year, Raveena talked about Govinda as an actor and said, "I think us type ki filmein jaha chi chi ka talent correctly use ho sakta hain, I think wo kind of filmein ab nahi ban rahi hain. I don't think Chi Chi jaisa actor iss industry mein paida hua hain! Jo apko hasa hasa ke ek hi scene mein rula de, maine aaj tak koi actor nahi dekha jo kar sakta hain."

Govinda Divorce Update
Govinda's lawyer, Lalit Bindal, who is also a close family friend, gave an update on the ongoing divorce rumors. In an interview, Bindal clarified that the couple is, in fact, "going strong" and that there is no truth to the divorce rumours. He acknowledged that Sunita had indeed filed for divorce around six months ago but reassured that the couple had since resolved their differences and are now back together.
