People were gathered at the Charminar for shopping despite the increasing case of coronavirus and people were seen violating physical distancing and other Covid-19 norms.
Telangana is under a 10-day lockdown from Wednesday. During this period, people would be allowed to buy essentials from 6 to 10 in the morning.

A huge crowd was gathered at the Charminar this morning, tens of thousands of people were also witnessed at Gulzar Houz, Laad Bazar, Shahran, Pathergatti, Patel Market, and other nearby shopping areas.
Apart from the Eid shopping, the non-Muslim wedding season was also contributing to the gathering.
After witnessing the festival crowd, Telangana Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali said that not more than four people will gather at the mosque to offer prayers during Ramzan, Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday.

Currently, the state is witnessing a dip in Covid cases but such a huge gathering could become a source of worry. Today Telangana reported 4,801 new Covid-19 cases and 32 people lost their lives due to the infection in the last 24 hours, according to the statics released by the Union Health Ministry.
