On being asked about Sushant Singh Rajput's case now being an election agenda, Amit Shah said, "It's possible that some people vote on Sushant Singh Rajput's case but I was surprised that despite so many controversies in Sushant Singh Rajput's case why Maharashtra government did not hand over the case to the CBI? Supreme Court of India had to transfer the case to the CBI. If they would have transferred the case to the CBI during the early days when their family demanded it, then the matter would have been closed that day only."
