Union Home Minister Amit Shah in an interview with Zee News expressed his opinion on the various ongoing controversies of India. Talking to the eminent news channel, Union Home Minister Amit Shah talked on the media trial, Sushant Singh Rajput's case, and the controversial TRP scam case.
Talking about the media trial in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, Amit Shah said, "We and the people of India are feeling that the media needs to balance what they are showing. News is news, news is not a marketing thing. if you will hype small things and run that the whole day, although, only the public response on this will makes it right."

On being asked about the media going to court and the TRP scam coming into the limelight, Union Home Minister said, "Although I cannot say anything clear on this, seeing the news coming from past few days I think there is a need to improve the mechanism of the media. And, politics should not be done in this. The media and the court will have to decide their future steps in the ongoing controversy because if we try to form a regulatory body for the media then it will give a wrong message and it should not be done either.
