The imposing period of National Security Act, also known as NSA, has expired for Papalpreet - the only associate linked to MP Amritpal Singh in Dibrugarh Jail. The accused was brought to Amritsar Airport from Dibrugarh by the officials of Punjab Police.
According to the reports, he will be taken to the Rajasansi Police Station for further questioning. Papalpreet Singh has been escorted by a team of the Ajanla Police. He has been returned back to Amritsar after transit remand.
He was arrested under FIR number 39, which was linked to an attack on the Ajnala Police Station. After landing at the Amritsar Airport, Papalpreet Singh will be presented before the Ajnala court on the following day.
As per the information, the NSA period imposed on MP Amritpal Singh is set to expire on April 22.
