The countdown for Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant's wedding has begun after two lavish pre-wedding affairs. The Ambanis are currently busy distributing Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant's wedding invitation cards. While a few days back Nita Ambani visited Varanasi and put Anant & Radhika's wedding card at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, on Wednesday the Ambanis met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
On Wednesday, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani along with his son Anant Ambani and soon-to-be daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant met Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and extended the invitation for the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, scheduled on July 12. Radhika Merchant is the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant and businesswoman Shaila Merchant. However, what caused a stir on social when groom-to-be Anant Ambani kept his hands on Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde's shoulder.
In the video, when the Ambanis and Maharashtra CM Shinde were preparing to pose for a photo, Anant Ambani held both the shoulders of the Chief Minister. Thereafter, Anant kept his one hand on Eknath Shinde's shoulder. The gesture by Anant did not go well with a certain section of netizens on social media. They accused Anant Ambani of disrespecting Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde.
