Angus Cloud, best known for his role in HBO’s teen drama Euphoria died on Monday. As per Angus Cloud's publicist Cait Bailey, the Euphoria star died Monday at his family home in Oakland, California. As soon as Angus Cloud's death reports surfaced fans around the world started expressing their condolence to the actor's family. Notably, Angus Cloud's publicist confirmed that the actor is no more and the actor's family also issued a statement saying, "It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today." The statement revealed that Cloud’s father had recently died and the actor “intensely struggled with the loss”. The statement further reads, "As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways … The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.” Although the statement might give a hint about the actor's health, no cause of death was given by the family.
The statement concluded by saying, "We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss." It is pertinent to mention here that although the family did not reveal the cause of death, a famous US media portal quoted a source in Oakland Police who informed that they responded to a 911 call at around 11:30am from Cloud's mother, Lisa, reporting a "possible overdose." Not only this, a source close to Cloud's family was quoted saying that the actor had been battling suicidal thoughts after returning from Ireland for his father's funeral.
