Anil Kapoor donates Rs 1 crore to Covid Relief Fund with Mankind Pharma

Millions of people are getting infected every day by the second wave of Coronavirus going on in India. The country is facing a huge shortage of oxygen and ICU beds as the health infrastructure is overburdened. In these tough times, many Bollywood celebrities are trying their best to help those who are directly or indirectly affected by COVID-19. After many celebrities, now Anil Kapoor has also come forward in this work. Anil Kapoor has decided to donate 1 crore rupees to a pharma company as Corona Relief fund.

Anil Kapoor has joined hands with pharma company Mankind and will donate Rs 1 crore to the Maharashtra CM Relief Fund. Speaking to a portal, Anil Kapoor said, “I am happy that I have joined hands with Mankind Pharma for this noble cause. In such a difficult time, Mankind Pharma is constantly coming forward to help the society and is helping to the best of its ability.”

The MD of Mankind Pharma said, “Donation of Rs 1 crore in CM Relief Fund is our small support to the society. We are thankful to superstar Anil Kapoor who has joined hands with us for this noble cause. Not only this but as a responsible brand ambassador, he and his team are also distributing packets of ‘Health OK’ to all the policemen in Mumbai.
