The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday revealed psychoanalytic profiling of Sanjay Roy, prime accused of the Kolkata rape & murder case. Before this, the CBI submitted a status report in sealed cover to the Supreme Court of India during the hearing. Sanjay Roy's psychoanalytic profiling revealed that he did not show any remorse over the incident and also narrated how he gruesomely committed the entire crime. Below is what Sanjay Roy's psychoanalytic profiling revealed-

A CBI officer was quoted by a newswire saying that Sanjay Roy is a 'pervert and severely addicted to adult videos'. Sanjay has an "animal-like instinct" and he showed no remorse for the grisly murder inside the state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital during interrogation.

"The man showed no repentance and narrated the entire episode giving every minute detail without hiccups. It appeared he had no remorse," a CBI Officer was quoted saying.

For the unversed, a 31-year-old postgraduate trainee doctor in Kolkata's RG Kar hospital had gone to rest in the hospital's seminar hall during her 36-hour-long shift when she was attacked. The post-mortem report suggests that the Kolkata doctor was raped and severely beaten. She had 16 external and nine internal injuries and died due to strangulation.

Talking about the hearing at Supreme Court, the investigative agency revealed that the crime scene was altered when the CBI entered the investigation on the fifth day. Advocate Kabil Sibal, appearing for the West Bengal government, countered Tushar Mehta's submission, saying everything is videographed not altered.

SG Mehta said the first FIR was registered after cremation at 11:45 pm. "Then they told parents that it was suicide, then death, and then friends of the doctor at the hospital insisted on videography, and thus they also suspected something is amiss," said Mehta.

During the hearing on Thursday, the Supreme Court asked the reason for the 14-hour delay in lodging of FIR by Kolkata Police in the incident. Kapil Sibal informed, "...it was the father of the deceased who did not permit the filing of FIR."
