The Indian Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank’ on Tuesday has announced the schedule of April and May JEE Main 2021 examination which were the third and fourth phases of the exam. The announcement was made via a live session.

The third phase i.e. the April session will now be conducted from July 20-25 and the last May session will be held from July 27-August 2.

Those students who couldn’t register for the JEE exam have the opportunity to do so and the registration window has been reopened.

"Candidates who could not apply for the entrance exam earlier are being provided with a golden chance to apply again," said Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank'.

Those who wish to apply for the third phase can apply from July 6 to July 8 and the registration for the May session exam can be done from July 9-12. The students are not really convinced with the conduction dates as the dates only have a gap of two days. The applicants are also given a chance to change the location of their exam center.

A total of 6.80 lakh candidates have already applied for the JEE Main April session 2021, according to the report provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

And 6.09 candidates have already registered for the fourth and the last attempt of the JEE Mains 2021 exam. It is expected that the number of students appearing for the JEE Main exams in both April and May sessions will rise as the registration window has been reopened.

As to follow the guidelines and practice social distancing the NTA has increased the number of centers from 660 to 828. The test cities have been increased from 232 to 334 to ease the process for the candidates.

There is unrest among the NEET aspirants as they are eager to know the dates at which their exams will be announced and are now requesting the Education Minister and NTA to provide clarity on NEET 2021 exam dates on Twitter.

However, it is expected that the dates for NEET-UG 2021 will be announced soon by the Union Education Minister. A fake notice was circulated among the students regarding the new NEET exams dates.

However as per the details provided earlier, it was stated that the medical entrance exam will be held on August 1. The NEET exam holders are asking for updates on when their exam will be held.
