The 68-year-old actor turned politician Kirron Kher has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma a type of blood cancer and is undergoing treatment in Mumbai. On Wednesday 31 March, Chandigarh BJP president Arun Sood informed at a press conference. Confirming all rumors Veteran actor and husband Anupam Kher took to social media and confirmed his wife’s battle with blood cancer calling her true fighter. Sharing a heartfelt note on his Twitter and Instagram account the actor expressed how blessed they feel right now with the best set of doctors and fans who have been praying for her best.
Kirron Kher came into the film industry in 1983 with a Punjabi movie, Aasra Pyar Da. She even worked in several theatre plays before making it to the big screen. She has given enormous hits like Sardari Begum, Devdas, Khamosh Pani, Hum-Tum, Veer Zaara, Rang De Basanti, Khoobsurat and many others.

After great accomplishments in the art field of acting, she entered politics. She came into power for the first time in 2014 leaving Congress candidate Pawan Bansal behind. In 2019, she again scored in the Lok Sabha elections and maintained her position in the Chandigarh region.
The actor used to be a judge in an Indian reality show ‘India got talent’. The show ran for many seasons and was hitting TRP charts. Along with Malaika Arora and Karan Johar as other jury members, Kirron Kher gave India some amazing and extraordinary talents.
